So TIG Torch still has not turned up , so I've spent the day mocking up the exhaust out of 40mm plumbing fittings .
cost about $40 still cheaper then cutting up a heap of stainless. Also when to the locak KTM dealer and got a freebee
350EXC header ( badly bent on the front bend which i cant use anyway ;)

Yeh got a D size and spent a good hour on YouTube so I'm like fully sick TIg welder now .
Also found a motorcycle exhaust manufacturer that has gone out of business , he is letting me go through all his bends
And get what I want.

My header will go from 45mm to 60+ mm I,m basically copying the Akro header it will be just a little longer
I might have it inter -changeable between standard muffler / wings and Akro (60mm)

I've been toying with the idea of a rally fairing, but then I would have to sell my SM setup. Does that thing give you any real protection from the wind at highways speeds?

Na she'll be right I'll wrap it in tin foil the plastic will melt bonding to the foil making a composite lite weight exhaust

There's no way the bike will burn to the ground

And the TIG torch is somewhere between Perth and QLD no where it is suppose to be
