But that's a paralever, not a monolever (R80G/S).
The paralever R100GS already has crosspokes...

I wouldn't go to the cross-spoke wheels if I had a monolever. I'd lace in some Accel rims instead - supposed to be some of the most rugged rims you can get. I heard a story of a group of guys all hitting the same obstacle in Mexico and the two without bent rims rode on Accels.
Those cross-spoke rims are strong, but they've got their limits. If they bend, you're in deep doodoo, but regular rims can be repaired much more easily. Also, those cross spoke wheels are lots heavier than any others. They certainly look cool, and I like them, but they're not necessarily the absolute best. Ever notice how many guys laced 'normal' rims to their cross-spoke hubs?
