Hey my southern brothers, I will be passing through your fine state from Adventure in Ohio just before Thanksgiving and I hope to be finding a place to pitch a tent for a night on my way to Texas. First I want to ask, what is the night time temp around Nashville end of November since I am planining on running the Natchez Trace, second tell me about some cool stuff to check out on my way through. I figure all the history/photo types would be in the phototag thread.

I nice route might be taking 68 from Maysville on the OH border down through the bluegrass horse country into Perryville and the Civil war historic site. From there go more west to Mammoth Cave NP and then south towards the TN. border and Nashville. If you like Civil war sites take a look at the Jeff Davis historic site just east of Hopkinsville on 68/80 or in TN. the Stones River Nat'l Battlefield in Murfreesboro. Hope you enjoy Kentucky, there's lots to see.

If you're not in a hurry here is a semi-twisty fun route I have run before. Out of Maysville follow 10 to Brooksville, Falmouth, North on 27 about 3 miles to 22 west. Follow that to Williamstown, north through Williamstown and left outa town on 22 again. Just before Owenton south on 227 towards Stamping Ground and Georgetown. 120 or so miles of fun, fun, fun. It pops out on 460 and you can go west towards Frankfort and work your way south.

Booyah!

Little hard to read, but it was getting close to dark and I had to hurry. I'm going to be gone for a week, I'll get a new one up ASAP.

Tagging it and leaving town for a week during prime riding season will cause this thread to die very quickly.

I agree. I participate in the Indiana tag and it's usually best to get the old tag and leave the new one the same day. Keeps things moving along.

Ok not as active as it once was, used to be a 2 or 3 new tags a week.

I would have been tagging, but it's hard to shift with a cast on your leg.

Oh and BTW there are two Indiana tags. Tag 1 has moved some but Tag 2 hasn't moved since Aug 8th,but no one has been keeping track of which Tag they are getting.
