It's funny, all of these KY historic markers seem to have the center painted red like that. On Purpose? Vandalism?

I passed that marker yesterday and thought it would make a nice phototag spot. I guess great minds think alike.

Every marker I know of has the red shadowing in the center. These markers have a unique ID number and are logged in a searchable database.

Well, I, um, think you're supposed to, um, go take a shot of your bike at the Old Tag and THEN go take a shot of your bike at the New Tag

. It's a nice picture and all but you'll have to go take an Old Tag pic to go with it!

Not that I'm the moderator of the KY Tag or anything...

All good with me! I'm just wishin' I could be riding more. Seems like all I'm doing is working for the last month. Dang... I missed all of last week's great weather. Brings me down.

Me too. I have a great route to Fat Boys but this Flu/cold got hold of me last week. Still going to ride there for the food! There still should be plenty of good riding weather yet.

Old Tag -

There were 8 deer when I slowwwwww...ly rode up to the memeorial. They're by the road in this pic. Only ones I saw in a 200 mile day and I was looking for them!

I had orginally planned to eat at Fat Boy's, but I was too damn cold. Got a late start because of the temperature and it gets dark so early these days. Cut my ride short and took 227 north from Frankfort, great road. I still gotta' make Fat Boy's! Might have to wait till Spring.
