Is Remus Worth The Extra Cost?

I am thinking of putting a Remus can on my F650GS today but was curious as to what others have done. I can put several other pipes on for about half the price, is it worth the extra dough? Search function did not bring me a whole lot of info.

Wish I could hear the sound first. I know it weighs about half of what the stock pipe does.

I don't about the Beemer, but I have the slip ons on my V-Strom and love them. The quality is top notch, and they souund amazing. Mine are thr Revolution, with removeable baffles. I have never bothered removing teh baffles, as the sound level is about perfect. Nice and mellow putzing around town, with a noice growl, when you get on it.

YES. I also had them on my VStrom but with the baffles out. They are very well built. Sounded awesome. Mine were the carbon cans.

Thanks fellas, I am going with the HexaCone. I dont intend on doing a whole lot with this bike accessory wise so I figured why not spend a little extra on the few things I am adding.

Found this on youtube.

1. Its and F800R but engines are the samre right?

2. F800 motor but since the "650" is a detuned 800 shouldn't they sound about the same anyway?

Don't have an 800 or 650 but from everything other owners have said...

Remus Hexicone

I have been running the Hexicone (stainless) for 12 months and I love it.
I took the baffle out and dont find it too noisy at all. Mind you I dont live in a city, so each to their own.
They are quite light, sit into the bike much more and look great.
If you can afford it and like it... go for it.

Question Fitment

Can anyone confirm that the Remus slip-on will fit with the Jesse Luggage?

How about the headers with SW Motech engine guards?

That's different. They can make your Strom sound similar to a Ducati.

On a parallel twin they make it sound like an old school Norton. Not a bad thing.
