Helmet Source

My girlfriend wants to buy me a helmet for my Birthday, and I have decided on a Shoei Hornet. I would like to try on on before I order one. Does any one know of any dealers around central NC that have teh Hornets in stock? I have heard they run the same as the off road only helmet, but want to make sure.

Ended up at Competition Accessories this AM. I have never seen more helmets in one place. Ended up witha Hornet in Matt Grey for over 125 below list. They had reall y good deals on a lot of last years helmets, including X11s, and RF1000s, and other brands. Sales girl seemed knowledgable, and was extremely helpful.

Ok. Initial impressions, I rode about 60 miles this AM, on the Strom at speeds up to 100 mph. I really like this helmet. Helmet is as stable up to 100 mph, as my X11. The only issues I saw was a little more buffeting when behind 18 wheelers or SUVs. Cross winds are little more noticeable, but not a deal breaker. The only issue is if you lift your head straight up , it will pull on you.
