Halloween weekend in Charlottesville

So, trying to make some sense of the multi-pronged-thread thing that Keith started, it looks like we're going to be having a get-together (GTG on other lists) Halloween weekend, most likely centered at Poonderosa.

We have a couple of beds here, also. We're about two miles away. You out-of-towners just let us know if you want somewhere to sleep; you might even have your own separate dwelling because our tenants are supposed to be gone by then.

We can contribute some food, BTW. We also have a bonfire area, but as long as we can arrange that at Neil's house we might as well concentrate the festivities there. Or here. We don't care. Our driveway is currently a real GS zone due to some excavation. :) Totally roostable!

See y'all then.

I think that I am going to ride down to T.W.O. to watch the "True Grits" fun run, but if I'm around I will definitely be there! I'm on the south side of town, just off of Old Lynchburg Road / Dudley Mountain Road.

Poonie needs to include beer, Advil, vise grips and a big rock in his DRZ tool kit!

I'm in too if y'all don't mind if I bring my ex-boss from Texas. I'd be happy to
do a road ride ride with some folks since Joe will be riding my K1200RS. Plus riding in the dirt is too dangerous. Too easy to fall down.

By the way Poonie-how's the shoulder?

Would love to- but my brain says "Bonefishing- must go Bonefishing!" this week- So I'm off to the islands for a few days... some diving will be done too- 'cause those are the rules. Somebody's gotta suffer through this whole divorce thing~

Yeah- it's been 13 years- I'm healing slowly. Could take decades! I find that tropical weather and expensive motorcycles ease the pain~

You poor sole. I feel your pain daily and have been trying to recover for over 20 years.

If loving umbrella drinks by the pool is wrong, I don't wanna be right~ (wasn't that a pop song?) Don't knock it 'till you've tried it. I also enjoy those little inflatable wings that you wear on your arms- but I admit that the floaty foam "pool snakes" have an air of :ymca about them.
