we have over 3000km on the K60's but don't you worry we will have a lot more to add as we are on a 28 day Vancouver to New York and back trip. We are into day 3 and have been mainly on the pavement for time sake. I will surely post how these tires do in the long run....not sure they are going to last that long though but we shall see....handling gets better after 2000km on them on the road...less vibration. Over all a good tire but again let's see how the tread holds up to at least making it to New York....we are in Montana right now....stay tuned I will post a report on these tires!

As for the Scout, my dealer has just told me that they are not in yet (so what's new?), will definately be more money and consist of a total redesign including tire compound. Better? I don't know. I will probably stick with the regulars ant 140 rear size for the $40 savings.

The heidenau website doesn't indicate that the non-scout version isn't available. The scout is just the mud and snow version.

Until heidenau says otherwise.

I just got my UPS shipping notice....I ordered a 2nd set of K60's 2 months ago and now they are on the way. I have over 4000 miles on mine now and they still look great....no cracks or chunks of rubber coming off like the 705's. I did order the 140 this time because of the time to get the 150 in. These are on my HP2...great tire....rick

I understand the "regular" will be sold up to 140 width, then you have to go to the new type.

I mounted my 140 rear a couple weeks ago and have been commuting in the Texas heat. So far I'm not impressed with the wear and if I get 4k miles out of the rear I will dance for joy. Maybe the 150+ road temps are tearing the tires to pieces... Maybe I ride my bike like a bat out of hell and all you guys are slower than a depressed soccer mom in a crappy mini-van?

Heindl Engineering

Heindl Engineering has announced that they have some 140's. They say to get one soon if you need one, for they will soon be gone. http://www.heindlengineering.com/Onl...enau_tires.htm
