Funny, I was headed to Wenatchee earlier and thinking the same thing.... A look at the thermometer convinced me the truck was the right choice. 12 degrees is just NOT good riding weather, even on a beautiful day like this one.

I should have said something earlier I guess- no time now, I'm leaving at 5 AM tomorrow for a long drive back to the bay area. I'll drop you a line when I ride up in spring or summer. Don't know about Mojo's, but the taqueria by the old mill is good. And I would trade california weather for all the riding opportunities around here in a heartbeat.

I wheeled the bike out of the garage and washed and polished it, removed all the salt and gave it a good coat of ACF~50. fitted a touratwat rear rack and fitted a new connector plug on the optimiser as the old one had corroded.

Wheeled it back in the garage, chained, locked, covered and hooked up the optimiser, put the heater back on and locked the door.

Coast Road, Monterey, just north of Big Sur. Cold (high 40s in the morning), but heated vests and grips cure that. Surprisingly less mud than I'd expected. Traction was, for the most part, outstanding.

We've had Low Teen's Numerous times so far this winter here in the Deep South.

I couldnt stand the Brutal Winters up North

No worries at all. I knew when I typed it I'd earn the ire (appropriately) of some people who live in truly cold climates.
