950 SE Brakes

Has anyone fitted dual disks to their 950 SE? Sadly, most of the miles on my '09 are freeway commuting. Realizing this motorcycle isn't my FJR or my R1, I'd still like to see a bit better performance out of the front brakes. For now everything is in stock trim in that regard. I believe one fork leg is different than the other. Is there a retro-fit that can be done fork-wise and wheel-wise to set it up like the 990?

320mm

Another opiton , buy a caliper hanger from a ktm super moto bike and go up to a 320mm rotor. Prob not as powerfull a duel disk but sruly more than stock.

Very nice PABiker. Clever idea.

Here's what I did to mine yesterday.

The bummer is, now I have Harley parts in my 950.

Perhaps it'll run better without coolant now

Talking New venting, new armor, new age.

I went for a nice ride to test my new tank venting system (copied this - http://www.advmachines.com/product_p/tankvent.htm), my new 661 pressure jersey, and my 65th birthday! Happy to report that everything works great.
My wife took this, I think, to show the grandkids what an idjit there grandpa used to be, when he was young.

Yeah, right! I hope to be riding a KTM when I am 65! Happy birthday

Hopefully they have Adventures in 2046. Hell, I hope they have motorcycles! They'll probably have hover bikes.

Installed my battery tender port inside the glove box (including quick disconnects so I can actually remove the glove box trailside if needed)

Installed the latest generation (Gen 2) SW Motech Crash Bars on the 990 Adventure and then gave her a nice wash and took a 2 hour ride.
