Finally finished the planned mods, all going for hight! :)
- Higher 265mm suspension (up from the 2011 R 245 front, and 225 rear)
- Higher center stand
- High fender

Pictured without my new spare wheels which are from a SE = super biger knobblies on the rear and a rim lock :)

I removed the crash bars and pannier rack - less weight and less width. This bike is a keeper, so I don't mind a few crashes/scratches, and don't think the crash bars add much protection anyway :)

Not quite today, but...

Weekend before last I completed the 15000km service work and added the odds and ends I've been collecting...
Heated grips and gauge remote-

Hammerhead shifter and Black Dog pan-

45 tooth rear sprocket and CJ's adjusters-

Euro light with HID high and low and Euro switch set-

CJ's clutch cover

Oh, and some IRC tires I really don't like too much.

Then last Friday got to do a good ride, about 400 miles half dirt road or trail. Which brings me to this quote-

I use my crashbars all the time. They add a ton of protection.

Congrats Snake. As for first rides, you can definitely do worse than that.

Hey bigkuri, remember me, we bought "R's" at the same time.
Looks really good your bike, I too have bought another set of wheels (kept bending the front whenever it hit a pebble)
I'll post some pics when I have the wheels on.
Cheers
Phil
