Does Unibiker make a radiator guard for the KTM 9x0s? I would love to get one for my 950 if he does, he makes great guards. But I don't see any on the website...

Fuse Block Install

I installed the marine grade fuse block shown on KTM HOW. Instead of doing as that guy did and putting it in the storage tray, I put mine in the box with the orig. fuse block. Nice install including, the regulator. Attached to the block is my Garmin and heated grips. Eventually I plan to have aux lights. Driving lights possibly. I'd love to mount a set KC Daylighters.
I have a aux plug attached to the constant on harness. PM me if you need pics

Did the Valve Check

My 2010 990 Adventure turned 14,000 kms at the end of my 6,000 km two week ride through BC and the Yukon. So I bit the bullet and tore it apart to check the valves. Intakes on both cylinders were at the narrow end of the range at .10 mm. All 4 exhaust valves were outside the range at .20 mm. I changed the shims so the intakes are at .15 mm and the exhausts at .30 mm, all at the wide end of the ranges. Hopefully they will stay within range for at least the next 20,000 kms.

I was a bit surprized that all of the exhaust valve clearances were so far out of range. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Thanks, David

I talked to Unibiker, and he said at this moment he does not make them for that big of a bike.

This week I've installed a seat concepts tall seat cover with the gripper top and carbon look sides with orange thread. This is my second SC install and it turned out real nice.
Yesterday it got some new shoes, K60s installed. Front took a lot of weight to balance... but did balance up.
Today my Weld bash plate and side stand relocator should be waiting for me after work so I'll get that on along with a set of Holan crash bars I got for a song as they're not bringing them into the US anymore. Oh and a new luggage top plate from CJ Designs should be showing up.
Tomorrow it gets a Scotts/BRP kit. Whew then I'm done for a while.
I love getting a new bike although it drives my wife nuts.
Pics will be posted when it's all done

Thanks I got the front number plate, swing arm covers and tank guards from raid designs.
The swing arm covers and tank Gaurds are really nice. The front number plate has a couple small blemishes in it.
