- replaced the rear sprocket, as I'm now past 15k, and just put a new chain on.

Changed the oil, then realized I needed to put on my new super cool oil tank hose so I don't have to mess with taking off the tank anymore.

Then I realized that while I was doing that, I needed to clean the prefilter.

Then I realized that I didn't have any filter oil.

Then I realized I needed to check the main air filter.

Then I realized that I needed to figure out why my GPS wasn't charging through the cable.

Then I realized my multimeter is from the 1960's (Grandpa's) and the wire finally stripped out of the leads.

Then I realized Home Depot doesn't sell leads for multimeters from when Kennedy was in office.

So, $10 for a multimeter, $9 for filter oil, and several hours worth of cursing I've come to the following conclusions:

Safari Tanks will lose their shape if you take the gas out, but will regain the proper shape if you put more in. (To a point)

I hate the stupid battery box metal cover thing that attaches to the bottom of the tanks and the frame.

I'm sick of 1-8 hour oil changes, so this hose thing better damn work.

I'm about this close to buying something from Bavaria.....

Nah, I'm kidding. This thing is a pain in my ass every now and then but damn if it's not worth the trouble.

Wink

Everybody loves new tires.
That bench is 16 ft. long, and probably 12 foot is tires. The last few years we seem to be going thru more and more. My wife thinks they must be cheap because we buy em so often, works for me.

Sexy bike. Really like the wheels...would love an 18 and 21 in that color...but they would have spoon and rock marks on them way to soon which might make me cry.

Really like your bike though.
