Holy Crap, what an improvement!
Had I known, I'd have chopped it off before it left the dealer and the 1600+ mile ride home. Wow. |

Not all today, but...
New in the showroom
![]() Safely back home. Time to fit the Barrett pipes and lose all those Kilograms. ![]() Side stand relocator and Weld 86 bash plate fitted (wiring to be tidied yet) ![]() High guard, fork protectors and changed to SW Motech crashbars which i modified for RIGID Dually light brackets and made Highway pegs for ![]() Close-up of fork protector mount ![]() Swapped the stock Scorpions for Dunlop 908 RR rear and Michelin Starcross HP4 front knobbies. Changed out the rear rack, and fitted a Fumoto valve and drain tube for quick oil changes and took care of the "studs" for the bashplate and crashbar mounts. ![]() Installed my BRP top triple clamps and Scotts under bar steering stabiliser. Made up a custom dash to take heaps of extra switches, wiring, controls etc It controls (L to R) ABS quick disconnect, Fuel mapping switch, Rigid lights on with Hi-beam / Off / Constantly on with ign. on, 2nd cooling fan switched independantly, Spare switch, and underneath is a Heat-troller for the heated grips ![]() Made up brackets and fitted my TOP SECRET "Ranger Hi-Way pegs" after thinking that all of the bolt-on pegs were junk. These work fantastically and can easily be clicked in, or out with your feet. (Let's see how long it is before these get copied..... )Here they are "closed" ![]() And here they are "out for use" and super comfy ![]() ![]() You can also see that i've drilled and countersunk the Weld 86 bashplate for some more ventilation to the VR ![]() OK. That's enough TOP SECRET mods for today. ![]() I've only just learnt to put up pics....can you tell? Cheers, Ranger Rob
