I took my Big Orange for a 470 mile road trip to Chaparral Cycle in Riverside and back to Vegas. Long day with 2 friends. My BUTT hurts.

I've never seen this filter before. Where did you get it? It's not on the Twin Air website.

unifilter

Well picked up my bike from Unifilter yesterday and have done about 100k's and the bike runs fine, will do some more k's as soon as the weather breaks and see if it effects fuel etc. Have some pics to share.
These are the neoprene washers

There are two filters yellow is the inner and orange is outer.

The inner fitted

The outer fitted

There is a rubber seal that goes in here to make it watertight

There are filters for the hoses too

I now have three foam filters, this maybe overkill but the bike is running fine and has really good protection. These will be in production in the next week or two and the kit will retail for about $95.00 AUS and will fit 950 also. I would like to add I have no connection with Unifilter they simply used my bike to make the prototype filter.

I'm afraid not high enough. Here's couple of measurements taken from the bottom of the front mount.

You could raise the mounting points with aluminum brackets, something like in this pic:

And, or put neoprene protectors around fork tubes.

And he decided to name this new head as "Alien Queen".

How does it say in Turkish? Excellent!!!

Thank you for the picture, will look at raising the fender some with some aluminum brackets if it will clear bottoming out.

I put in a Rottweiler air filter setup, Factory Pro jet kit, removed the canister, SAS stuff, and its going back together as we speak. And since I took the TPS sensor off before I read the directions saying not to, I guess I get to adjust that too. Man , there is a load of shit that came off, that isn't going back in.

Sounds like fun!

I did 18k of traveling on the KTM last summer and HATED the 17t/42 sprocket setup on the highway. Even at 80mph the I'd have to shift down..twice sometimes, to pass cars or it would kinda buck and snort at me. Went to 16/45 and actually love it on the highway. sure the rpm is up a bit more but you can now actually use the power.
