I would junk the anodised clutch/brake covers as they reflect the sun and cause glare. Just my opinion based on buying a bike with them on and getting blinded as I rode through trees with the sun flashing off the cover straight into my eyes.

Actually its working surpringly fine. I can block the front with or with out woman and luggage on board on asfalt.

Only thing is that I have lost a tiny litle bit of feeling to the brake. But no concerns, I dont think about it when im out in the field.

When its getting a bit more warm im planning on a small weekend trip to vesterhavet, I could drop by you and see the beast and try the 320 setup could be very nice!

This is so true! They suck specially in the mornings and afternoos depending on the sun position.

SW-Motec Crash bars. Seriously strong but bloody heavy!!

Lexx mufflers. Not bad quality for the price. Loud without baffles and quite with inserts. Sounds great!
Also fitted ktm pannier racks.

MSC Damper and riser kit

Checking out the canisterectomy job, see if the cats will need "adjustment". Figuring out how much was done by the PO's mech.
Checking out the vacume lines.

I think I caught it just right, tiny amount of foam i the clutch/oil, slightly compressed filter and fairly decent grooves in the shaft. Oil looked good though considering its last run in November was 200 miles down the slab to my home and it was a 80+ mph trip... Only down about 8 oz of coolant..

Didn't get it back together because like a dork I forgot to buy lock-tight and the bottle I had was the wrong flavor..

Bought the CJ shaft, it is a NICE looking piece. Machine-work is top notch and you can tell its HARD.

Buy some locktight and finish up tomorrow night,, be all ready for a good riding day... :)

Dave
The best laid plans,, finally finished it and buttoned it up last night..
Ended up drilling two of the heat shield bolts out. Had to order a new graphite ring was supposed ot be in in 3 days,, didnt make it then found out the other (Better) KTM dealer in town had 14 on the shelf.. Used the Blue Ice coolant..

If you've never had the headpipes off or the splitter for the exhaust I recommend pulling it and cleaning occasionally, It looks like condensation from the cats drains to the union and causes corrosion.

The oil filter was collapsed when I took it out..

And of course burned the whole sunny day wrenching to wake up to rain this morning.. Bleh...

Machined a 2" riser block. Used a design I liked here on the forum with a few tweaks.

Made some budget frame protecters.
