One Great Road. Between Ashwood, Horse Heaven, and John Day Painted Hills Unit, Oregon. The GS ride I laid out for the 2001 BMWMOA Nat in Redmond, OR.

I've been thinking about one of these lately. I've ridden with them before on smaller dirt bikes and they're amazing. Let me know what you think of it.

ScottOiler finally arrived. With a big trip coming up, I'm looking forward to lack of chain maintenance.

I was originally going to install the system in the tool tray under the seat, but decided to place it on the pannier rack instead.

While the bike is suspended from the ceiling waiting for its arms and legs to come back from SPS, I thought I might as well drill the swingarm. Thinking to myself that my old bike produced a lot of water, certainly KTM has fixed that problem, right?

Nope. Got a lot of water out- between the two sides, might be as much as a half cup. 120ml to you folks lucky enough to be metric.

I had already r&r the chain adjusters with anti-sieze.

Bike only has 5500 miles or so- I was suprised.

Go drill your swingarms.

I'm not sure

The filters I had. Not sure if I got from Cj or KTM. But CJ did send me the o-ring for the out side of the fuel pump. That guy from CJ Craig is great. He sent me a bunch of stuff to Costa Rica last week. He even went way out of his way to get me some items he does not even sell. Just to help me out.

I parked the big bike dirty and in dire need of a front tire ........ I too have developed a serious distaste for the stock front Pirelli. It hops Like crazy on pavement and then once on gravel it pushes like a bastard. 800 kms yesterday had me convinced I love this bike and hate its front sneakers.

A quick change of bikes on a gravel road had me smiling and my riding partner scared shitless to take my 990 out of second gear. He was so happy to be alive he gave Mother Nature a Handjob!

Two sets of Mitas tires on their way here tomorrow so today the little lady and I took the dirt scooters out for some fun.
3 feet behind me it's 300 ft to the ground .... Gorgeous view.

another 400+ ft drop behind her in this picture.
