Installed Aprilia Tuono Mirrors onto mine and then went for a 100 mile ride to see how they worked. I like them.

Because the stock RR was trying to smoke my AntiGravity battery at random times, an upgrade is in order.

It's from It fits in the stock located, if I mount it upside down, and rotated a bit.

Last weekend I changed to larger mains to support my Rotweiler air Filter.
Good time to change back up to a 17T front sprocket too since I do mostly pavement.

Now for the bugger.
I installed a new KTMtwins slave for my clutch.
Anybody else notice clearance issues with it and the shift lever?
I have never bent the shifter and I looked to make sure the slave and spacer were all flush with no gaps.
Here's some pics.

It is NOT fun to have the shifter stuck in the up position when shifting thru the gears.

Is that your old 950 SE? And is that why you sold it?

Its a work in progress so i didn't actually do it today,
but i got a used bmw aluminum top case (hope the ktm forgives me) in a very good price,
matched it with touratechs rapid trap system and the proper rack and made this.
It will do the job for my upcoming trip to Europe and then i need to make a good looking middle plate (the one i am using was cut by hand), and find a way to properly paint the whole thing black/orange of course

BTW does anybody know if its possible to install at home massif rivets instead of the pop ones? I need to unrivet the whole thing but don't like pop rivets.

Finally got a PA inspection sticker on mine; I bought it in Iowa back in April!
I've never met a motorcycle I didn't like.

Emig 20mm Triple Trees

Well, I said I was going to leave it till the fall, but I decided to get it done the day before I flew back to work for a month so I could have it on for my trip to OG and the sand dunes, :) Less than 8 hours from start to finish including throwing a BBQ for my friends, lol! I even got a chance to have a test ride the following morning before my flight and I'm pleased with the initial results so far!

I did a few other minor things at the same time including the new top clamp from HDB and a set of bars that I like better than the stocks. They are RC highs which are identical to the bars I put on my 450. I like the rise and sweep of them and the only difference between these and the 450 is that these are black.

Christmas came early!!!

I can't wait!!! If it would only stop raining for more than 6 hours that would be great!

Suspension very nice lots of great things about Mike at Super Plush Suspension!
I get my bike saturday with my new suspension a kit from KTM for the 990 Adventure.
Actually they now offer a lower kit for almost all the bikes now wonder if by sending numours emails to KTM asking for lower bikes for the inseam crowd that they really care about us out here.
Thanks KTM!
