I'm running a Dunlop 606 front right now but they can get a little sketchy at high speeds on the road. It really depends what type of riding your gonna be doing. I like the tkc80 front for commuting and medium duty dual sport use. Just keep the pressure up if offroad. The Dunlop 606 is far better offroad in my opinion. I wish they made a rear for our bikes.

MRA X-Creen Add-On Variable Windscreen Spoiler Blade

Installed the MRA X-Creen Add-On Variable Windscreen Spoiler Blade on my Carbon Fiber windscreen.

The X-Creen is fully adjustable. The mounting arms have a pivot point at the windscreen and at the X-Creen. This allows the X-Creen to be set at infinite positions.




The X-Creen positioned high over the CF windscreen:

The X-Creen positioned as low as possible:



There are two tabs that hold the adjustment arms in place. When the tabs are vertical, the X-Creen is locked in place. When they are horizontal (as seen in the photo), the X-Creen can be adjusted:



Here is the mounting bracket that connects the X-Creen to the windscreen. I drilled two holes in the CF windscreen for each arm mount. The long arms have two pivot points on the base: up and down + left and right. This allows the arms to be installed on almost any angle windscreen

Took it out for a short ride. It helps a lot with the buffeting and wind protection when set in the high position. It's probably not suitable for riding single track through the woods though. However, I can easily remove it by taking out the two screws that hold the lower (windscreen) mounting pivots.
Product looks to be well built. It is clearly designed for touring and road use. Not sure how it will hold up in rough riding. Time will tell.

Well let's see:

Tore it down

Checked the valves for the first time, ever, on anything

Replaced the air filter



Replaced the fuel filters





Chopped the kickstand for my 19/17 wheels



My ghetto-fabulous quick change extension



Padre's answer to my ghetto-fabulous quick change extension



Replaced the water pump shaft and seal

Put on CJ's peg extensions (which work great for holding the WP impeller!)

Put it back together, put a gallon of gas in the left tank...

CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK

*heart attack/stroke/brain aneurism trifecta*

Realized the bike died because a gallon of fuel isn't enough for the fuel pump to prime in the supertanker Safari tanks

Burned 2.8 gallons of diesel in a fiery burnout going .18 miles up to the gas station and back

Put more gas in supertanker Safari tanks

Deduced that the horrible noise of death was the lack of oil on the cam chain

Went out and rode it 5 miles in 82* heat during Charlotte rush hour

Drank copious amounts of alcohol when it didn't explode

Nice bracket but when you in a position like this is a good idea to have your spot on you





It may not look too bad but this was so steep there was no way to walk or climb up if I was alone I would have been screwed

I was about 300 ft away from the bike and below the tree was all that stoped me from going for along way
