I put a Cox Racing radiator guard on my 2008 Super Duke today. Overall, this is a very nice product. It's relatively inexpensive, easy to install and looks great. It perfectly matches the concave shape of the SD rad and after my test ride I didn't notice any rattles or movement from the screen. I also have more peace of mind knowing that a stray stone isn't going to puncture my radiator potentially costing me thousands for a replacement. All in all I give this product an enthusiastic thumbs up!

FINALLY GOT MINE RUNNING AFTER a 3 yr sit in garage. Somethings pinched/ not quite right, but I believe it may just be old fuel in filter and/or the carbs; belching, spitting fire, didn't want to run much under 3K rpms.

Even the H-D guys were scowling at me!

Now, I'm missing some hardware; the larger bolts that go on the outside of fuel tanks, where they meet the upper piece. WHo's got the best online fiche and ordering prices?

Felt great otherwise-those CJ oversized footpegs are thee bomb!

Fiche - http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....--SEAT---COVER

Yes, CJ peg extenders are like power steering in your feet, lol!

I believe the bolts you are looking for are part #21 on the tank/seat/cover page. KTM part #0912080403. If you need the bushings/rubbers also they are # 16 & 15 KTM part #'s 60007060000 & 60007065000 respectively. Grats on getting her running! Dump that fuel out and put it in a company vehicle. Start fresh! Run some carb cleaner too maybe, lol!

Ride!

Mounted up the CJ Designs kick stand re-locator, which is a great product so far. And took it for a little spin. Welcome to the Northern Plains.

Did a reverse clutch bleed to rid the line of the black sludge that was in there. New Magura blood is in! Also ordered 20/50 Amsoil for the next oil change. Installed a GPS power cord as well. Plug and play!

Fill the floats up on the carbs and you'll be able to ride the only naked KTM 950 Adv in the world, for maybe 1/2 a block that is.

I've actually seen Riceless move his bike around without tanks using something like a soda bottle attached to the fuel pump intake line.

Last night-

Finally got around to mounting up the new Woodys rear wheel with a brand new 908RR, running tubeless. That of course meant I needed a chain and sprockets, so did that too. Fit up a pair of Wolfman Rocky Mountain panniers for our ride this weekend. Left all the bugs alone....

Gotta say, finally having a real garage, and a lift, changes EVERYTHING!

The prior MEFO was so squared off it feels strange to ride with a tire that's actually round! That plus the 908 tread makes for some interesting sensations--gonna have to go for a ride after work!

Did a oil change and added CJ oil hose to speed up the process next time. Its my second change, first at 600 miles, second at 1700 miles. I will still pull the tank every third change to clean the tank screen. Had very little debris in the screens and filter. It is always scary to see flakes in the drain pan on a new bike. Heres the hose..

I also have a seat problem...

A Russell for the big mile work (new this week), and hard on the eye's.. but great on your a$$. Not the stitching pattern I would have picked. But I got a deal on a seat they had made, and ready to ship. Build spec's very close. and a free pan.. I will be sure to throw my jacket over it when I get off.. A XCP (only 400 miles) and a Renazco Ergo (400 miles).

Need to have a seat sale....
