It's from Black Dog...great service, great products and a discount if you buy the Rigids from them. $80 otherwise. Fits nice...some high fenders like mine need a slight bit of plastic removal, but this is all described in the instructions.

Thanks BTW...this machine is my favorite bit of hardware of all time (I have owned a couple dozen bikes, mostly European). I wish I was half the rider that it deserves but I try to get it dirty rather than clean most of the time. It served me so well in the last few weeks I thought it deserved a couple hours of attention. I parked it on the grass to give the lawn a bit more topsoil...

I used the mini D2S bi-xenon

Which Morimoto projector did you end up with?
.....but I didn't mount it through the stock reflector...didn't see the point of keeping that piece of trash on the bike. I made a flat aluminum plate and bolted the projector to it, stealing ideas from this thread:

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=757704

I wish I had gone with a 50W instead of 35... I went small because of some heat concerns, especially with the LED light in the same housing. I have yet to see it's over temp switch cut it out, but honestly with the projector and the Rigids blasting away, I doubt that I would notice. I rode CO Hwy 71 north from Limon to Brush faaast the other night and those Rigids really turn night into day, so much so that the lowbeam seems a little lacking (tho it is a mile better than stock...obviously). I'm glad I put the wide beam LED in the mix...it fills in the ditches a little and I have shutoff switches on the HDB bracket for both it and the Rigids if the reflective signs get too annoying. My perfect setup would be 2 50W HID bi-xenons, the Rigids, and a pencil beam to get waaaay down the road.

In the spirit of this thread, PM me any questions about anything here...happy to share.

Been working on my own lighting setup. Also looking for people to get on board to help me pay for the cost.

Argh

Overfilled my oil - was rushing trying to get everything buttoned up to do a quick sprint up to whistler and wasn't thinking.

Spent the next 1.5 hours with a straw, a chair, and some music in my shed - dip, cover end with finger, pull out straw, empty contents (0.00001ml of oil) into cup, dip, cover.....
Had only about 30 minutes til my wife was home and we needed to leave for dinner.

Thankfully I had just come back from a 1000km round trip to Osoyoos a few days before.

Still learning about this bike - wont do this again..

I have a turkey baster for that very reason. Now I measure my oil in 1.5 oz containers and monitor my oil top offs very carefully.

Gave mine a new house - and of course wanted to ensure the garage was the first room that was set up to 80%.

Screw the inside right...

We recently moved and I have a real garage for the first time in 20 years.

Congratulations!

Pulled it out of a crate after almost 2 months

Recently moved to Germany and haven't seen my bike since I handed it over to the movers on 22 May. Was super excited yesterday when I pulled it out of the crate and it was unharmed. Put the mirrors, windscreen, tank bag and tail box on and connected the battery. Just need to get gas and the bike registered and I'll be back in the saddle. Can't wait!!!

I tried to install Rox Risers, but apparently there is an issue with one of the risers and I can't get the screw in... Looks like its a bad thread.

I put the throttle cable under the brake, hope that will do for cable lenght.

It should. What size of Rox Risers? I have 4.75" from the top of the triple clamp now (Emig's are flat with real risers instead of the contoured top clamp) and I flipped my throttle cable and have plenty of length. Just do a lock to lock sweep with the bars and see if they get too tight or not. Then do it with the bike running to make sure they aren't pulling on the throttle bodies or anything. The rpm's will increase if they are. Cheers!
