Chunk of wood and a BFH will fix that.

Can you advise how you did this, or reference to the how-to and how it worked out for you? I know "Individual results may vary" and not trying to start another thread on it but general idea.

NACA ducts

I basically followed the advice of Sakurama found here: link

I did it to reduce the buffeting which was driving me nuts on the highway. So here's my take on the results:
0-60mph - no buffet at all, don't even remember it was there
60-70mph - maybe 30% of the original buffet, still happy
70-80mph - 50% of original buffet, starting to bug me
Over 80mph - a thousand midgets are kicking your head every minute, sucks

Overall, a worthwhile mod for me. What I used to feel at 60mph, I now don't feel until 80mph. I don't normally travel above 80 for long on the highways around the east coast, so that's a win.

The only tools I used were a drill to start the holes, a jig saw to rough in the shapes, files to finish the shapes, and a dremel to polish the edges. I used RTV silicon to adhere them. I also used a dremel grinding wheel to cut some excess material off of the carbon fiber ducts so they would sit more flush.

Hope this helps.

Nice! Give Woody's a call. They just really took care of me. Even gave me a loaner wheel to get my bike shipped and to it's new home. Good people and good prices.

Felt my front brake was a little plywood feeling (950 adv s with SE single sided setup)
So I swapped the pads for new, still not happy after ride in today so may bleed later.
