Hey let us know how the super explorer works out for you. I just annihilated a new Karoo3 in about 2000 miles and am looking for a good replacement.
Oh and to stay with the thread, I put my new Tourmaster tailbag on. Should be a nice size for around town.

Here's my Karoo after lots of freeway pounding hunting for a job and some dirt (not enough) for fun.

Rode with the wife up to Big Sur a few weekends ago. Going to finish the ride report one of these days.

Installed a BDCW skid plate, their footpegs and the kickstand up-armor kit (piece of mind but no real wow factor!), all added to the rox risers I had installed during the inital service.

I must say, the quality of their products is beyond expectation. The rally pegs really improved the stand up feel and give you loads of control. The skidplate was a thing of beauty! Even my wife commented on it, and she hates motorcycles! The kickstand plate is nice but made me had the same feeling as when I pay for insurance, comforting but not very exciting! Beats a lower case failure anyday. I would recommend Black Dog products to anyone, quality products and much more finished than touratech (no slight to them, they have nice stuff too).

Love this bike.......and orange weapon of mass enjoyment!

went on a ride, of course, but also added a voltmeter, an ignition map switch so I don't need to unpack and pull the seat on trips, and 2 waterproof USB ports. Also installed a Weld86 skidplate a few days ago; awesome plate, and very well designed. Unfortunately I measure the hole for the voltmeter off a little bit so it isn't horizontal... gotta see if i can improve that somehow.

Hi
I was thinking of adding a volt meter for piece of mind ,where did you install yours? Any photos? I was thinking a LED one in the glove box or a nice small round one in one of the top fairings .

I have one myself. The brand name is BAAS. With 2 leds (green and red) it lets me know the current state of my battery. It also has a 12V socket:
