No the Kenda K784 Big Block: a cheaper version of the TKC-80. I've found them for about $40 less than the TKC, but if they don't last much it might not be worth it...

I've read about the new Karoo 3, a bit spendy at around $180 (the 150, not the 140!) and doesn't seem to last much either. For the same price I can get a Heidenau K-60 or a Mefo Explorer which should be nearly as good but wear much better.

That's the guy, him and ghostrider (I believe) pretty much killed them in a day or so... I understand that was pretty much an extreme case, searching ADVRider i found a person with about 3K on his KBB from a 'Strom. So I'm curious as to how they wear on a 990, and it looks like GJ990 might show us where the upper end is.

Can you give us some specs on that?
I'd rather have a god almighty headlight than spot lights hanging off my bike you know.
Can you do a write up on the install and show a comparison photo of old light -vs- new.
I'll buy you a crate of virtual beer!!
