Stopped by 3 Brothers, got oil, filter, brake fluid and clutch fluid. And picked these up:

Bled the clutch and re-oriented my shifter. Might move it again but figure I'll ride it a bit and see how I like it.

Hit 40k miles on what might be my last big ride of our 4th season together.

sunday fundays

finally got all my parts from CJ installed recently...
went to a 17/45 gear Combo, fancy gold on gold chain--truely does power wheelies now in 2nd
(no mini bike clutch for me, just the slave)

wasn't happy with my old rise kit
nothing like grinding on a fresh set of $100 ROXs to make fit with HDB upper clamp, but it fit
figured why not, just trying it for now, had to re-route several things
3" cobbled riser kit

last sunday, testing new parts

today
i've ran every bike i've ever owned down the 1320 it was time.
could find little to no info on times, had to see for myself
now that it officially has drag race gearing installed

its an 11 R, 28,650mi on her
akra pipes (no DBs)& mapping
inspection plates removed on stock airbox
Hedienau rear & TKC frt, half tank of gas, tool kit removed
she went 11.585 sec @ 114mph
had a few 11.6s with 115 & 116 mph trap speeds, top of 5'th gear
had to short shift 1st & 2nd gears
my friends tiger 800XC went 12.1 @ 100, its got no torque....
the zebra bike(zx636) could just out pull me & run 11.30s @ 120(his first time)
it was something different to do with the bikes

oh and then noticed my bike was getting loud too...
she blew one of the collector gaskets out for the H-pipe, no biggie
CHEERS

Hey Nic,

CJ designs billet filler set-up
lost a vent hose due to a odd ball cap I was using, rigged a temporary "y" venting set-up
love em, easier & quicker fill ups
early production set
http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...ht=fuel+filler
current ones(he didn't install'em right the first time)
http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...ht=fuel+filler
been running mine all season, rode in rain for a week in colorado trouble free

Had to retourqe the center bolt in the clutch, should be 130Nm but was almost finger tight...

Have had a terrible ramble from the clutch lately and some power missing, looking at the steel plates I could see that it has been slipping a bit (not much) and might need to replace the. The lining plates are spot on 2.8mm after 71000km.

Bike feels nimble and strong again...

My back is still hurting like hell after 2 months. Fortunately doctor gave me good drugs and told not to drive after taking them. So I decided it's perfect time to go to garage and play with power tools and flammable liquids.

First I made a snakes nest.

Then I installed a plastic thiggy

Before leaving I started makin this nice aluminium kikkeli.
