Oil, filter, screens, serviced foam air cleaner, replaced stripped water pump cover bleed screw, new o-rings on the metal water pump tube, check valve clearances (one needed adjustment), Pastrana bars, heated grip install, new grips, changed coolant....last week. Tonight, put my new Woodward aluminum baseplate one, replacing the cracked original. Thanks to FZCruiser for the help and the garage lift!! Ready to go

Insured it, my 690 (that would have been be the replacement of my 950) is up for sale. 950S is way more fun then a 690R.

You know its a bad winter when someone in Atlanta keeps studded tires on hand. (I used to live in Marietta)

oh yeah and I forgot, I installed my Minion to the front fender pre ride. just a bit of shaving of his ass to get him enough contact area for the superglue to get a grip.

I was pissed about the weather mainly because I had just taken the tires off last week because I "assumed" that our once a year snow/ice storm was done with. it's not easy mounting these things up, you have to watch your knuckles/pants and with the mousse in the front, makes things more fun. especially when it's cold out.

Drove 30miles home from work without a clutch and without stopping. Master cylinder seal blew. Again.

gefr is doing my second master cyl S/S re-sleeve. I haven't tried his mod yet but shall do next month when I'm reunited with my SE in Chile. He also offers a needle bearing in the lever to cut friction.

This brings the bore down to 9mm and should last for ever. Add to that Rekluse and it should be the best possible solution.
