Installed the first sets of manual cam chain tensioners today. They really do work, make a already quiet 990 run a fair bit more quiet on idle. An old '04 is night and day difference.

Started out getting it running...

Went to this

Removed all this crap

And put one of these in there

Love it. More wheelies. And a TON of more noise. Like outrageous noise that I didn't expect... :) It is great :)

Will it put constant pressure on the cam chain? Have more info to share?

Replaced the Touratech GPS mount with a standard RAM ball.

Had a piece of mild steel laying around, bent it to shape and made a couple holes for mounting.

USB outlet next to the RAM mount.

Switched power works like a charm

Looks good.

New tires in

Every day I learn new things about the best

Thinking I had a standard air filter I went in to see how dirty it was. Big surprise to see this

That's being the case, I'll postpone for a while the cpm Rottweiler intake. But what's the best method to clean and oil the BMC air filters?

That's the beauty of the tablet: I can use OruxMaps for GPS, read the maintenance manuals (in PDF), and watch pr0n videos all in one.

Why else watch LWR?

Love the mini tab. Garmin and I are breaking up--irreconcilable differences--and that is the way I'm going. Have you considered a case?

Got it dirty,

Ted came down to ride on his DRZ with his new FCR carb. Works well.
