I have a life proof on mine and have a life proof cradle to mount to my RAM ball.

I'll try and get some pics tomorrow.

Made a few changes to the 625 SXC; put on a new tire, chain, sprockets, heavier rear spring, updated headlight - mask... then detailed it and his big brother.

Best thing about a mini iPad is that you have a video camera, camera, gps, books, net, and movies all in one device. Haven't got to do extensive testing yet, but so far so good.

Mounted a nexus 7 using ram mounts and a rubber case for protection. I mounted on handlebar centered on the bar clamp as the upper mount vibrated too much (touratech).

I've used Backcountry Navigator which works well offroad and GMaps for turn by turn on the street. I'm told turn by turn works well with a Bluetooth headset for getting from trail to trail. ☺

I'd consider watching pr0n but riding the 1190r is 10x better! The combo might send me to the next level so I'll play it safe.

It's a Galaxy Tab 2, 7" (GT-P3113). I chose this one because they're cheap on eBay and it fits a RAM mount from GPS City. Even if I destroy one a year, it's still cheaper than a Garmin and does more things. Not that I hate Garmin, I just get more use out of the tablet. The only issue I have with the Galaxy Tab 2 is that it uses a stupid older Samsung-specific USB connector that looks like the old Apple one, but isn't compatible. Fortunately these connectors are abundant and cheap on eBay.

For mapping I use OruxMaps (free) and MobAC (Mobile Atlas Creator - free). Orux Maps can download online maps to the device, but it's limited in size to 1Gigabye. That's where MobAC comes in, run it on your pc (Linux, Mac, Windoze) to create the maps and then transfer the files to the tablet.

Hope this helps.

Changed the "range change nut" of the tank lower bolts. The old ones were deformed and had to clean the threads with the "whatever it's called tool" every time I wanted to install my tanks cause they would make a mess of the bolts threads. A 2 euro fix that makes my life so much easier. Also was very surprised to find them in the local hardware store.

I have the same tablet and it works pretty good but... It is virtually unreadable in sun light. So not sure how well it will work on a bike, unless you only ride a night.
