Took the back wheel off to swap over my wheels to find this



I have seen this happen to someone on a forum somewhere but cant remember where. I replaced those pads with some EBC ones.

Pulled the stator cover, checked the bolts and flywheel bolt (which I had previously found finger tight...), pulled rear brake lever and front header in prep for water pump.

Got my 2.5" rim from RAD the other day. Like a derp I ordered normal spokes though... Waiting on super duty spokes and then gtg!

It looks great.
I definitely need one of this, my cover is scratched. Since I have no bars mounted, my brake pedal takes most of the damage on the occasional incidents...

Starter clutch replaced, torque limiter fitter, full service oils filters and plugs. Check and water proof all connections. Fit a new start relay and a new battery.


And fit my lydon poskitt racing inspired crispy designs Decal set.

What Did You Do To Your KTM Today?

Someone should tell EarthX batteries to make their stickers more flammable because that's really bad advertising when it's still legible in the molten pile of turd that it was once was the battery you paid good money for.

I'm very glad you and the bike faired ok.

That thought also came to mind.

I have an Earthx in the 525 and it's been perfect, spins fast. I wasn't posting to bash, just documenting my crazy morning. It was crazy how fast it disintegrated though. Still don't think I'll go lithium again.
