Yesterday, actually: Installed Unifilter and Clearwater Darla lights.

Unifilter install went well enough, although I think the lid gasket may have lifted the lid just high enough to rub the underside of the fuel tank. I will check on that later.

The Clearwater wiring kit and 21mm crash bar mounts are the best thing since sliced bread. Power run from the battery, tapped the high beam to engage full intensity and grabbed "switched ACC power" from the unused connector behind the headlights to trigger the dimmer-intensity setting on the lights. Doing this did not impact the bulb monitoring function on the headlights... at least not now - possibly could interfere with detection if the bulb stops working.) The excess wiring and relay are currently under the frame in front of the tank, but there is room to move them to behind the headlight, so I may do that next time it is apart.
The headlight is remarkably easy to remove, so I am not sure why I have heard people making a big deal out of it. 4 screws (8 if you take off the windscreen) and instructions are in the manual.
You may want to find a longer screw and spacer to allow mounting of the dimmer onto the clutch/mirror clamp screw instead of using the included wire/pipe clamp attachment - that is the only less-than-stellar part of the Clearwater kit. They provide this screw and spacer for BWMs.

Finally got around to installing a Uni filter, decided to check the main filter as well and discovered the previous owner had installed a K&N filter and removed the secondary throttle without remapping.

TuneECU to the rescue and all is well

Crash Bars

Mounted Black KTM Crash Bars on the "Grey" 1190.

The left side plastic original didn't hold up thru a nap.

Threw on a new custom sticker kit, sprayed the new exhaust black. Don't like the chrome look
