Thats the Uni for the 990, not sure if its the same for the 950.

Longer rear stack makes a big difference to the bottom end and low mids, gives you more torque and smoother rollons from as low as 2500 rpm upwards.
Only downside is you loose just a tad of the top end rush as it makes the power a bit more linear.

Applies to pretty much any new bike sold. None of them are really completed by the factory; they just give you a place to start.

Really tested the Dyna Beads today: at the ton for a solid 5 mins with not even the slightest vibration. I'm sold forever.

New chain and sprockets!

I kept the old chain on WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY too long. 26,000 miles
It was in bad shape! 12 missing rollers with many more broken still hanging on.
One of the pins had started to wear through and was oval'ing out the holes in the side plates.
A disaster waiting to happen. I will never take a chain past 20,000 miles again.

Both of these chains are 118 links

Replaced this

with a new Yuasa.
Because of this

that's my stock Regulator/Rectifier. That's a crack with a seep of solder. Kind of explains the battery. Also explains the odd charging issues I've been chasing

Added this as well. Because when the R/R went it fried all the bulbs, hi, low, tail, and brake lights as well as the little five watt bulb in the headlight assembly. This came from an 12 BMW five series wreck. The car was totaled and this was debris tossed into a garbage can. Grabbed it and started playing. Not completely installed but damn!

Cleaned/checked the clutch oil jet in the 1190 today. What a PITA getting the jet out!!!

Finally I put some Be Ray grease on a Q tip and stuck the jet to it. It finally pulled out. Now that I know the trick it should take 5 minutes and not an hour
