Yup, but it wasn't on Oliver Levi's Rd.

But I did learn that Al Oliver was a first baseman for the Texas Rangers and played the most games in a single season for the team.

I also learned that Levi Strauss and Co. isn't the only clothing company from San Francisco.

Again, thanks for some great clues that take a while to figure out.

Oh yeah! Great clues. Now, if I could get over to it.

Sometimes hunting down the clues will have to suffice

Yep, a little googlin' goes a long way, I've always said that!

Seriously though, found the exact spot on the map. Great clues (thank god for depth charts), fun to search, but, will not be able to make it out to grab this one. There isn't enough daylight outside of my work schedule, and then I think I have a family thing on Thursday . Thankfully I'll be out and about on Friday and Saturday.

Hey, I rode that road yesterday, I went right past it. Too bad I didn't keep checking the forums while I was riding

Great road though.

Grab

Grab, Moreland Gap Road, 1.8 miles from its intersection with Camp Roosevelt Road...

I could not resist stopping to take this pic as I crested the mountain on Fort Valley road on the way to a new tag spot....the sun had only been up a couple of hours....beautiful!

New tag in a few minutes.....

New tag...there is RD sitting at the base of that tree....

Now covered up with a rock.......

It"s the tree just to the right of that sign in the pic....

and the bike pic with the sign in the pic as well....

pretty little river .....

The duck is located on a one word, (plural), road in Rappahannock County. Its digits add up to 9. Bambi would not like this road, particularly at this time of year. This spot is also not far from the intersection of another road...the first word of that other road shares its name with an American athlete that made a bit of a comeback this past weekend in Australia.

Sorry about some of the out of focus pics...but my camera was acting up a bit this morning..

Brothers

Those of you that are new to the NWVA tag game do not know that RD has 3 siblings !!!! I stopped by their place today so RD could say hello....and they were all dressed up for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the snowy times ahead. Suffice to say, they asked if they could be included in the game when appropriate. I said I would ask....but did not think it would be a problem....here they are .....Rudolph, Santa, and Frosty...RD's brothers....

No need to ask. A change of mascots is good now and then. I'm sure Ranger Duck could use a break. He's been the mascot since 8/9/10. Reb Rider is his owner so we can get RD back to him or...

Shoot...Tuesday sure was a nasty weather day....47 degrees, rainy, fog over the mountain...wait! That's a perfect day for tagging(well, you probably won't get bruced )

Oh yeah, I got off work early

GRAB!!!!!

On a day not fit for man nor beasts, but perfect for RD, I found this...

On Hunters Road(a few miles off of Tiger Valley) south of Little Washington, VA

So I set up RD to go for a ride.

Now here's the problem. It's a pretty cool(read, cold) day, my hands are starting to lose feeling and the brain isn't functioning that well either. Where to tag this little fellow? Or do I wait until I've thawed out to place him somewhere nice?

Stay tuned, same bat time, same bat channel...da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da Batmannnnnn!

P.S. I think I'll claim extra bonus points for getting out on a day like this....just saying.

Well, folks, I decided not to hang out with RD longer than necessary. You know, that whole thing about bad company corrupting morals and all that. So I tagged the same day. And here's the pics to prove it. This first pics has a sign in it that gives you a serious clue, so look close.

And here's RDs new resting place. He looks camouflaged amongst all those yellow leaves.

And here is the door shut on his new home.

And to lend a little perspective, here's the group shot.

RD is in the big downed log that the bike is pointing to. Oh yeah, don't forget the rock.

Ok, have you guys figured out where it is yet? Come on, do you really need any more clues?

All right, I hate to do this, but this place used to be called(and sometimes still is, supposedly) Happy Creek Gap. There, you've made me tell you everything you need to know. Oh yeah, go until the road ENDS. That should do it.

Temptation

Looking like a nice day today. I know where it is. In fact I'm probably closer to it than anybody else.
But this darn thing called WORK just seems to get in the way of more important things!

Now if, I'd just ridden the bike in to the office... I could maybe sneak out at lunch......
