My folks are happy to see me, (us) Say hi to Mrs MZ, my folks flew her down for the weekend! (my Wife is in the busy season at work, could only get 2 days off.........)
![]() My dad picked up some of my favorite beer, I dunno where....... ![]() He's pysched up about Key West. ![]() He roared (?) in on the Wing about 10 minutes after I arrived. 1700 miles, no one home. Typical.

Glad to see you made it!
Your parents have pink flamingos on their house and in their flower bed You escaped the snow up here today. The ski areas got 5 inches. Enjoy your time with the wife and folks! lg

Yesterdays ride was long and fast, 610 miles in 10 hours. I slabbed it most of the way, except for some rural highway in central Florida. Another perfect weather day for traveling. About 84 and full sunshine down here.
The land of live oak trees - way different than up north. ![]() Nice little pulloff, with shade, even! ![]() I think AWM was driving extra slow today. The train just crawled by, I sat at the crossing for over 15 minutes! Hauling gravel it looked like. ![]() it's pretty rural around where my Folks live, a lot of ranches, and horse farms. Outside Ocala there are some pretty nice spreads. ![]() ![]() No problems getting down here, the bike never skipped a beat, and no performance awards. |

Nice trip Scott. And yea, Mike's right.
Good for you meeting Mrs MZ down there. Personally, I can't imagine riding 1300 miles and finding my wife at the end. Makes the whole trip kind of pointless.

Strong cool breezes have been blowing across the islands in the usual spring style so the weather is perfect, unless you want to go snorkeling in which case the waters are rough and rather cool. Crowds in Key West have shrunk with the departure of snowbirds and with schools still in session the family summer crowds haven't yet arrived. The city is available for exploration.
