What a difference colors make! This looks really nice.
Thanks. My son picked the color since it was going to be his first street bike. I wasn't too crazy about the color (Ford chrome yellow) but decided if nothing else he would be more visible. As you can see from the other bikes I liked it after it was done. A friend who restored his 750 GT liked it so much he even used the same color. |

I dont want Vintagetour to have all the fun. He has been a great mentor on my project. For one point he bought this bike new! He did let it pass out of his care for a few years and that is when it detiorated into its previous condition. After repossessing it and doing some work to get it back on the road, he made it avalilable to me.
![]() It took me about six months and lots of help. ![]() To me it was worth it ! One week after getting it back on the road I did a 1,200 mile weekend shakedown ride to see Vintagetour show his freshly restoried Vincent.

Wow! Nice work. A Steen was the first (running) bike I ever bought. The guy let me pay it out knowing I was just a kid hauling square bales and working evenings at a full service gas station. Thanks for the great memories! I always remembered mine being a 90cc. Is that possible?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like all you did was take off the mirror, gauges, and turn signals. Please tell me you have a build thread where you documented all of this awesome work.
