I just ordered some different styles... I like the SAE plug adapter so I don't have to wire another thing to the battery... The SAE plugs are just hanging out for the ride since I only used them for charging... now I can put them to good use!
Oh yeah, and the SAE plug makes it easy to move it around from bike to bike!

I ordered one of these several weeks ago. At the time I ordered the website mentioned 'One dollar shipping' if not sent out before 3/18. I had been eyeballing this USB plug for awhile and finally decided to install it when I was doing other electrical system work to my bike.
I ordered some other electrical parts from another dealer after I ordered the USB plug. I received the other parts 3 days after the order, and they are located across the country from me. Still no USB plug from Burnsmoto who is in the same state. I contacted Burnsmoto to ask about the status of my USB plug. Was told it was out of stock (not listed out of stock at order time) and it would be shipping "tomorrow". Tomorrow has come and gone and I don't have my USB plug or my credit for the 'One dollar shipping'. I would not consider this to be "fast shipping".

My experience was different.
I ordered the socket with the SAE plug last Friday. I recieved a shipped notification that same day and it was waiting for me when I got home from work on Monday. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Stephen. |

Nice. That is what I was expecting. I have no idea where my order is or what happened to it. No follow up email, other than the one I had to solicit to find the status of my order. Since then, nada.

I apologize if you haven't received your product yet. It's been a crazy month for me as I have been on the road for 4 weeks and my wife has been shipping the products. What is your name? Email me stephen(at)burnsmoto.com and I'll sort things out. For your trouble I'll refund you all your money and send the USB charger Priority Post.

Interested in a custom USB thingy, regular length with the right-angled Powerlet. Do you have them in stock? If not, when can I expect to have it at 13669?
thanks... .

Order the PPL-004 right angle plug and the USB charger and I'll put it together for you. Just put it in the notes. I don't recommend using the right angle plug because they are not as sturdy as the deluxe powlerlet plug. I think first class mail will take about 4 days to the east coast.

I ordered one a few weeks back. When I ordered you mentioned you were coming out with a new version. More waterproof I think? Has that come out yet?

Panel Mount USB Socket
These guys have a panel mount USB socket. Is that what you are looking for? I bought some 12V stuff from them for my Garmin 60CSx that worked out really well.

Hey Stephen, quick question...
I've got the socket with an SAE plug. Does it draw while not in use? I would like to leave it plugged into my pigtail all of the time but want to make sure it won't drain the battery. I assume it only draws power when a device is plugged in but thought I should check. |
