OK ya bunch of Bastards, listen up.

I talked briefly with the supervisor for BESF about the DS network. He said that the trails do need work, and volunteers would be most appreciated. No word on dates or anything like that yet, but we will get something put together.

We ride here, we play here, 'tis time that we did a bit of work here to keep the trails open to everyone.

While talking with oldRanger, I told him how the Bald Eagle Bastards earned the name. He shared this little story with me.

Show me the good stuff in CPA.

Hey Central PAers,

As a fly fishing guide/instructor Im well versed in your watersheds. But it would be awesome if one of you locals could boost my repertoire of back road twisties in your area. I know about some of the good stuff, but not enough to lay out a good route to load in the Zumo and lead others. A lot of my riding cronies are spoiled rotten from many trips to WV, SE Ohio, and NC PA so their expectations are high. Anybody interested in showing me the local good stuff? Ill buy the first one at Ottos Pub to start.

Bald Eagle State Forest Dual Sport Trail Work

OK YFF's, I have more info for the BESF DS Trail maintenance.

Basically, we will need to use a sign up sheet for volunteers. They will use them both for tracking volunteer hours and for workmans comp, if the need would come up (be careful and don't get hurt, you idiots). So, let's get out there and do some work.

I propose either May 29 or June 5 (both Saturdays) for the work day. Which day would be better and who all is gonna be able and willing to make some payback for the wonderful trails we love to ride?

I'd love to help out, but looking at my calendar, I don't have a free weekend for the next five weeks or so.
