June 5th is the dabbers ride so I don't think that will be a very good weekend to do it. Ill check my calender for the 29th.

Your favorite stuff is all. Central and south central areas for example. Centre, Blair, Huntington, Fulton, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, etc. Rod Cross from Chambersburg took me on what he called the 7 mountain ride this time last year. The mountain Passes were fun. I’m currently running a Versys, and I’m a former Hare scrambler so I personally like the small technical stuff w/a little broken pavement and packed gravel /hard pack dirt mixed in w/the smoother stuff. [Think DL not DR] But many of the folks I ride with complain about the bad surfaces that I enjoy.

When you said "back road twisties in your area" I thought you meant pavement.

Yes, I do mean [mostly] pavement. Remember, my Versys has 17" front wheel, street tires, and w/all the crap I have bolted to it probably weighs more than 450 lbs. [doesn't crash well] But the pavement doesn't have to be good, and some gravel and hard dirt sections here and there are welcome. Next year I'm thinking on adding something for true dual sporting. But for now no mud, single track, and nose on the fender hillclimbing. That's what I ment in the post "think DL, not DR" or DRZ.

OK then, I guess that I will make it the 29th. (I really gotta keep up on what is going on).

Oh yeah, just so that folks know, the PA Trail Riders Association is having their Seven Mountains Ride on June 27. I am working that weekend, but I think that I will take Sunday off to ride.

I did not do any further work on this. There was no response after I put the date up, so I figured that folks were gonna be busy for Memorial Day weekend. Now I have plans for the weekend.

I was hoping to get a work day in before the PATRA ride, but we can do it afterwards.

Is anyone else going to be doing the PATRA ride? I took the day off (June 27) and will be there.
