Have you ever tried Kokanee Gold ? Its wayyyyy better than the plain old Kokanee Beer ....IMHO

That is a good one. Mine was in Nelson at the Save On parking lot. Check out the mountain in the background. Kokanee Gold only comes in draft. I like mine in a bottle. I have to try it again the Kokanee Gold is probably fresher in the Kootneys

Are those new. I have to admit I've been buying Dos Equis Lager recently and haven't noticed the Kokanee Gold at the liquor store. That would go really good right about now with the hockey game. Go Vancouver Go. Now back to the third period.

The offsales at Taylor's Crossing at Marine and Mackay (Near Capilano Mall) has Kokanee Gold. Walking distance from my place

I get it once in a while. It's good stuff.

I love riding through the Kootenays, especially the Slocan valley. It is a real interesting place.

Great report and photos. So true about the beautiful roads and scenery. I just got a new camera and I will force myself to stop and take a few images to remind myself of the fabulous ride. I've ridden around the area many times during the Triumph RAT Raids. I'll be up there again this July and can hardly wait.

I'm riding a Triumph Daytona right now but this inmate is looking to move to a ADV bike in 2011.
