I just orderd a set for my street legal KTM 525 EXC Supermoto. I feel that good mirrors are a safety feature to any bike ridden on the street. I feel these will meet my expectations.

Currently I have ebay bar end mirrors and they are just about useless for anything other than legally having to have a mirror.

I LOVE these mirrors !!

I have only broken two stock KTM mirrors over the 4 years I've owned this great bike,
but what bothers me most is how they smacked the brush on the edges of the uncut dirty roads I ride so often.
It'll be nice to fold them out of the way.

I installed them with these Chinese mirror extensions I got for $17 on eBay.
The Ram Mount base's ball stud would not fit with my throttle cables, without these extenders,
and even these extenders needed some "modification"

My right mirror is re-located from stock, to a similar attachment place as the stock left side mirror mount.
This was neccessary after my last mirror break took out the right side mirror base threads and with it, a portion of the brake fluid reservoir .

Here's some Sunny Day January ride pics of these babies "in action" from my last Tuesday's ride in Central Oregon.

They only vibrate a little bit, not much more than the stockers, No Problem.
The biggie is that they get up and out of the way of that view of my shoulders, and provide a much better view of the road behind me.

I love them. Thanks, Ned

Thumb

Just found the pic I wanted to share from this springs HighADV ride....the foldable mirrors are fricken great for crossing the open plains too....
As I was clipping along about 80-83mph pushing against a Northeast headwind I folded the mirrors in behind the deflection of the screen and picked up 3 MPH I could still see over my shoulders (not that anybody was gonna catch me but...) So I ended up running them this way anytime I was on the open slab.
Very versatile LOVE 'EM!

For what it's worth... I ran a DTM for the entire Dakar. It tucked in front of the organization GPS/ Sentinel so you could barely perceive it when on the specials, and for the paved Liaisons, it was awesome to have some idea when a truck was about to blow past (we had to ride with a slow-ish speed limit, so we would get passed by local traffic with regularity).

If you look closely, you can see it here:

The lengths I go to on product testing!

That's too funny. I've been waiting (wanting) to kill my OEM ones for the same reason.

Get the new ones, and save the stockers for when you sell the bike (swapping the double takes for the new ride).

Almost positive they are 10x1.25, the standard pitch. But have not actually tried that bike, so not COMPLETELY positive.

We offer a full return (to anyone, anytime) so if they don't fit, all you'll pay is shipping.

Ned,

You need to update both the 1st post in this thread AND your web-site to say "Dakar proven" or something similar.
