Just thought I'd let you know they are still open. Last time I was down there it looked deserted.

there's this little place in Durbin WV that's real good. I forget the name. it's the last restaurant on the right as you head N on 250.

the place at Seneca Rocks, WV above the gas station is ok.

the Cafe coming into Bartow, WV from the east on 28/250 has a good breakfast.

Griffin Tavern, in Flint Hill, VA. It might be considered a little "upscale" for mud-splattered bikers but we didn't get too many ugly looks . . .

Anybody know of any good places to eat out towards the Lexington / Buena Vista (VA) area? I often find myself down there and have yet to find a good 'diner'- type restaurant (that remains open for more than a year, that is ). I've been hitting the Aunt Sarah's on Highway 11 lately, but there's got to be more offerings than that.

There are a couple of cool places in Marlinton WV that I like to hit. My favorite is the one that's right on the river ... big deck, good place to relax after a long ride. Gets crowded on warm-weather weekends though.

The Dillard House in Rabun Ga. Not real close to Raleigh, but worth the ride.

DAMN! I hate to miss a good time ...

I rode down to T.W.O. and back (for the True Grits run) this weekend, sorry.

Looks like all the leaves are down in WV.

It's still there in all it's glory. Spacewife, Jerry and I stopped there on the way back from the RA Rally. Momma was in the kitchen and a sweet young thang covered with hickeys was workin the counter.
