Pisgah View Ranch in Candler, NC. It sits in a valley on the back side of Pisgah Mountain.

Cuz's is shutting down for the winter in 3 or 4 weeks so if you don't want to wait until spring you'd better get it now.
Overheard at a local campground:
"I'll talk to you any damn way I want unless you've got a gun or a badge!"

If you get up to Marshall, try the breakfast at The Stockyards. It's run by Kevin, who used to run the Rail Stop in The Plains. - Steve

Ate at the Lovingston Cafe (VA) tonight. It's nicer inside than how it looks from the outside, not that they're a fru-fru place but they do have a dessert menu and a small wine list. They have a good, reasonably-priced menu -- and if you're cheap like I was tonight, they serve from their "Sandwiches" menu all night as well. Good service too ... plus, they didn't mind my romping on in there with my 'Stich (always a good sign).

Apparently they have a breakfast buffet on weekends, from 7-11. I'll have to scout it out.

I must say that my son has exposed a reservoir of love and of worry within me that I never knew existed. --nskitts, 9/2/12
