I have a modular helmet and most of the time only use my current headset (Midland BT2) to listen to music via bluetooth from my MP3 player. What would be the best way to order a SMH10 that I could disconnect the mic? I'm thinking that I'll want to order a double set so is there a dual pack available?

PM sent regarding defective SMH10 unit (out of box). One works fine, the other does not receive.
Found one of the gold spring pins on the back of the radio has retracted, no longer "springy". Where should I send package for replacement? (Sena direct, or RocketMoto?) A bit disappointed the units didn't work right out of the box.

I had an issue with one of mine after the update. One press of the factory reset button and all was well.

Following up on our PM exchange - we've seen this issue a handful of times in two years. Please call us when you get back from your trip, and we'll make an exchange for you.

Ordered on the 14th, was waiting for me in Lewiston on the 16th. Super quick shipping, thanks Adam!
I picked them up on the way back from a 3 day run to Philly. We just got back tonight and I've already installed them. Both units seem to be working fine, perhaps I should have tested them on version 3.3 first with everything I'm reading about FW version 4 but so far all seems good. Funny enough I had already paired mine to my iPhone that was sitting in the house and I was in the garage installing it on my helmet. Wanted to make sure I positioned the speakers properly so I turned it on and pressed the jog dial and all of a sudden I have tunes streaming from the house to my helmet in the garage. Sounded great! Will do the road test tomorrow on the way to work and then on test out the intercom with my wife on Mon and report back. It sucks to be working all weekend with new toys. |

I gotta finish reading the manual for the V4.0 firmware....
There's a few new features that are very clever .... like: If when you power up the unit if you continue to hold in both buttons for several seconds the "lady in your ear" will tell you the state-of-charge of the battery .... nice! |

Still confused
I've read a bunch of posts, but this stuff is new to me and I'm lost.
While solo, I'd like to be able to send/receive calls with a BT phone (not smart), and listen to music/directions from a second BT phone (smart, but no cell service). Can one phone "talk" through the other, or is this where the "multipoint" stuff comes into play? |

It sucks to be working AT ALL - but it beats being on the bread line!

One phone doesn't 'talk through' the other. Multi-point pairing is where you have TWO phones, say, using the BT hands-free profile (HFP is the profile used for phone calls) and you want to pair those to one headset. In this config, you can only be talking on one phone at a time, though. For your desiired setup, on your first phone this will pair up using HFP. The second (music only) phone MUST be able to *selectively pair* using the A2DP 'music' profile only. So long as you can pair up in this way, you should be good to go. Hope that helps. Give us a call if this doesn't make sense.
