SMH-A0303 unit or accessory
So, just for clarification - is the earbud model (smh - a0303) going to be sold as a whole unit? or as an "add on accessory" that you have to buy seperately after buying a unit?

I got my set and paired them with no problem then paired one to my LG EnV Touch with no problem and now I enjoy bluetooth music and phone through the Sena. I can control the MP3 player in my phone through the controls on the Sena and can even make hands free calls from it. I have received calls on it and the person couldnt tell I was on my bike. Speakers are loud and sound good. Good purchase. and great deal from Rocket Moto. Thanks again.

Also, we understand from Sena that there will be complete kits for both the earbud and fixed mic versions, but we'll know for sure when our rep tells us they're ready to be ordered. We'll update this thread when we know more.

Headset Comparo - Scala Rider G4, 4Bikers & Sena SMH10 *LOOK*
Hi Inmates - here's a video that a tester in Sweden just posted on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSv4sjDFN3A He compared three Bluetooth Intercom products namely - Cardo Scala Rider G4, 4Bikers and the Sena SMH10. The conclusion is this: Sena SMH10 is *the best* -- the easiest to handle, has the best tone quality, the longest communication range, the fastest start/stop when connecting via intercom to another headset. Of course, we offer special Inmate pricing, immediate availability, plus service and support that the 'other guys' won't match in a zillion years. ![]()

I only spent a few minutes playing with them, but they paired easily and sound seemed to work well. Let me know how the install goes in the Shark. I'm putting mine into 2 Shark helmets in a couple of weeks. --- D |

Second speaker/mic setup
Adam,
For those with multiple helmets any idea how to order a 2nd mic+headphone unit? Obviously the brains can be transferred between lids but the other part isn't a quick transfer. --Bryan |

We have 'clamp units' (the part with the speakers and boom mic) in stock. $49.95 retail - and of course the ADVRider discount applies. C'mon over to the shop and grab one, if you'd like.

static/ crackling noise when in intercom mode
Bought the dual set and shared it with my buddy. Seems like when we are in intercom mode, there is always a crackling, intermitten static noise. Wondering if anyone else has used the intercom mode extensively had experienced the same thing.
This noise only happens on intercom mode. It doesn't happen when playing music or use the phone through bluetooth. any comment or suggestion would be much appreciated. Thanks |
