That looks very cool!

Anybody know if there are plans to allow the app. to work with the the SMH-10 and SMH-5 series units?

So how do the speakers in the 10's compare to the 20's? Is the bass better? I am thinking of changing the speakers in my 10 already.

I actually believe the volume max is a bit lower on the 20's versus the 10's. Quality a touch better but no thumping bass. As I recall there was a firmware upgrade for the 10's which increased max volume. Maybe soon.

Lower volume than the 10s? That would suck for me, I hope that is not the case. I have the SMH10R with Tork Pro speakers. I had to get the Tork Booster to obtain sufficient volume. Kind of goofy with the Booster on the back of my helmet, SMH10R on left side and the battery between them. If the 20s have lower volume it looks like I'll stick with the 10 for a while longer.

To clarify - it is similar to the 10's before the volume adjustment firmware upgrade came out. That upgrade was not a huge boost but some which helped. For all the features and more streamlined size of the 20, I would not let the volume alone dissuade you from upgrading. It is an exceptional unit.

In order to support the Smartphone App, the hardware should be designed in mind for the app. The SMH10 and SMH5 headsets were not designed with any kind of app support. From now on, all the new Sena products will support the Smartphone App.

Thanks - unfortunately that makes sense

I will be looking forward to it when I finally get around to upgrading my pair of SMH10 units!

Oddfellow checking in. Put my name on the list earlier in the thread. Leaving for A Colorado trip on July 30 with the wife. I know she wants to "give me some directions" on our rides. Hoping to have a two pack by then if possible. Thanks for all y'all do for ADVRider!

Michael:

You're a fair ways down the list. If we actually see some more product arrive here, we'll do our best to accommodate your trip date. We have it noted.

Mr. RocketMoto,

I followed the original directions and sent you an email using the forum to verify my member status but have not received acknowledgment. I'm going for the SMH10 dual pack and not the new hotness 20 series. Is there a wait list for that as well, did I not write the secret code or do you need me to bribe you with beer? Let me know and I'll make it happen!

John

I originally sent Adam an email and never heard back, so I PMed him a week later and he responded within 24 hours. I called RM Saturday and Jeanette cleared up my last couple questions (Adam was busy with another customer) and took my order. It arrived today. I haven't opened the box yet, but will in the AM. Excellent service, thanks RocketMoto!

Anyone know what the diameter and thickness of the stock SMH10 speakers are? I just got a new helmet, but loaned my Sena to a friend. Need to "simulate" the speakers to see how they'll fit before I decide if I'm happy with the helmet.
