This was a few years ago on one of the days where you skied in an area in the morning and coming back in the afternoon and we couldnt even see our tracks, so yeah epic.
I really like the guys we have been skiing with there as well. Low key, good food, simple and above all no risks taken by the guides.
But the dream is to come back in the summer with the bike, just so friggin far across this country.

Thanks for posting and showing me the place with out snow.

Gerrard Rainbow Trout

update: I saw an article in yesterdays Nelson Daily News about this springs Gerrard Rainbow trout spawning run being a record year. Great to hear a good news environmental story, in these days record of oil spills...
I've also seen lots of bears this year...mild winters and good berry crops equals low mortality I guess...we had a brown bear treed outside our bedroom window a couple nights ago, and a black mum and cub walk three feet in front of my feet as I was looking out my front door window one evening at dusk!

Great rider report.

Food and beer is good at the redone Kaslo hotel. Food is a bit on the expensive side.

Thanks for posting the pics, was up there 15 years ago running fiber for the telco (Kaslo-Howser) and would drive back home on fridays to Salmon Arm through the trout lake streach.

We also did the Hale creek run up to the 9000+- foot level, most cool and groovey

Hope to get a shot at doing silver cup ridge and the bad shots this year if the snow ever melts.
