DId you get enough snow this weekend for you?

Tomohawk A, B and C loops are not far from Pellston (25 ish miles depending on exactly where) - great stuff. I prefer B or C. C would likely be my favorite.

Ironically, I am going to be riding down by Baldwin this weekend with some friends..i live right on the Atlanta system/MCCT - and drive over 3 hours to go ride...

Kent - got your PM. Would join ya if I did not have the other plans - its an annual "birthday ride" I do with a good friend. He and I share the same B-day - though he is 35 ish years older than I. Anyone that rides D14 enduros will know who I am talking about - the man, the legend....Young Ted still going strong at age 83! I rode the entire MCCCT with him in 5 days when he was 80. Amazing guy.

I read your write up on the MCCCT when you and him went. It sounds like it was a blast. I hope someday I can have some good memories like that. With GOOD friends.

Well, we hit up Tomahawk A. My brother fell in a huge puddle, but other then that there was nothing unexpected so we had a blast.

Cool - glad you got out for a ride! My ride with Young Ted was perfect - weather on Saturday was almost ideal for a ride. Had a group of 6 of us, Rode the MCCCT north from the parking lot on M-20 west of White Cloud. We did around 60 miles. Ted is amazing - trucking right along at (now) 84 years old! We ended up doing a bit of dual sport ish riding, got into Bitely I think it was and stopped at a bar and grill for something to eat, and to top off gas tanks. The clerk in the gas station asked me "how old is the old guy out there". when I told her she was amazed and said "wow, what is he, the Energizer Bunny or something?". Little did she know, we often refer to Ted as exactly that!

I wish I could get out for a ride this weekend, but looks like it will be spent moving my youngest son home from college (but at least I will have one of my riding buddys back home!)

That's great. We went about 26 miles on the Tomahawk Trail it took us about 2 hrs. So at that pace we were slower then somebody running a marathon.

It makes it easier when your riding buddy is already at your house. Everybody I know is about 2 hrs away. And while I love my job, it makes it hard to meet people because I work almost every weekend in the summer.

I hope when I am in my 80's people call me that.
