Brewtus...talked to Pee Wee at Ginders about those TY80 fork replacements. He said they are YZ100 forks and clamps with stock wheels on them. They had to go with a longer Falcon rear shock on the rear to compensate for the longer forks. No more flex in the front forks he says. Hunter has outgrown the 80 and is now on a Majesty 175 that Bob built.

Way cool. Thanks, Buls. Now I have a shopping list......

You don't happen to know of a pic of that bike around, do you? It sounds pretty neat, and I would like to see it.

Gee, I hope we don't outgrow our TY........

Never saw a good picture of it Brewtus but I have actually worked on it with Bob. Looks very cool with the good triple clamps and big shocks. Lots more ground clearance too. He also beefed up the gusseting around the rear shock mounts as you put a lot more stress there(YOU WOULD PUT ALOTTTT MORRE STRESSS there). Hunter weighs about what your legs do! A great project for next winter.....It's time to compete now. 2 trials in the next 2 weeks for me.

Our TY event has been moved to Saturday afternoon. My teammates and both of my finely calibrated legs and I are looking forward to it.

Good luck with your trials, Buls. 2 trials in 2 weeks? I'm jealous!

BTW fellas, if you are at one of your respective trials events and see a TY80, photograph it and post the pic here. It does not have to be 5 buffoons doing silly stunts on it, kids getting their start on one or maybe a clean restored one sitting in someone's pit make cool pics. Whaddya think?

Hey a win for old buls today at the trials! It was really muddy as 5 of the 10 sections were riverbank and mud( that is the substance that happens when dirt and WATER mix, which you do not see in NM often). I had half a brewtus leg of mud on the KT when I finished I bet. Won a nice mug....Brought it home ,washed it and made a HUGE margarita in it..

Congrats!

NMTA has pint glasses for Trialsmasters at each event. I'll hoist a frosty one for your victory!

We actually had some mud at our last event, but it was mostly gone by the time competition started (it rained the day before) so no half my leg of mud on our bikes. I'm given to understand that NMTrailboss has a pic of me crashing in a VERY soft spot on the 80 though.....

Great pix.... The best place to fall, in the sand. Very clever to keep the throttle side of the bars out of the stuff too.

This one club always gives out nice mugs up here. You can actually drink from your trophy. They are like A&W mug size.Something to think about for useful trophies.

More stupidity......

Geez, that was big. At least the "new" shocks held up. Or was it the frame that held up?

Damn thing just keeps on going. Even with "Fearless" Tim Dugan piloting it!

Greg "The Hammer" Arrants taking it easy....

The League has fives of adoring fans who almost always come out to see us (crash)!

Next scheduled event of stupidity: Sipapu NM, June 5th and 6th. Watch this space (or not) for your buffoonery update!
