Snapped a pic of this young guy at the Youth Nationals in Las Vegas, NM a couple of weeks ago trying out the Big Boy "3" line on his TY that trained all of his brothers. He normally rides the "4" line.

Good show, young man!!

I would LOVE to buy one of these for my six year old son. Does anyone have any advise on where to find one. How hard are parts to find for these things?

Thanks for the help.

The League's bike came from an NMTA member that had advertised it in the club's newsletter. My personal TY came off of Craig's. They are out there. Does CAT have a newsletter that you could put the word out in??

I'm 6'6", I'd have to be liquored up to even try. About a year ago, we were at the motocross track with my son (he was riding his stock CRF 50). He had a crash and was really tired and didn't want to ride it back to the pits. Sooooo, I had to get on it and ride. EVERYONE in the Pits stopped what they were doing and watched me ride that bike in. I was laughing, it was funny...I'm just glad I didn't crash.

Well... maybe I would try the 80 . Jim

The League paid 400 bucks for the team bike. My personal one was advertised for 300, stating in the ad that it was "90% restored". I jew....uh, I mean negotiated the seller down to 250, pointing out that the "restoration" was nothing more than some paint slathered on top of bent and filth-caked parts. It ran, but the top end was VERY noisy. It is awaiting it's turn to be finished, right behind the Montesa fleet.

Short answer long, I would say somewhere between 300-700 bucks, depending on condition. There is one advertised on the local Craig's for 600, and it is not in much better shape than the Team bike was when we got it, with no modifications. A tad high, IMHO.

Got pics of this 80?
