I usually wear a Supertuk while carrying a Glock 26. I tuck my t-shirt in and usually have a jacket on over the top of it. In Missouri, if you would have it showing, you will get nailed for flourishing. I've never had the t-shirt get pulled out while riding. If I am not using a holster, I will use a pocket holster with a S&W Bodyguard 380 and put it in the inside pocket of my riding jacket.
I'm not worried about shooting from the bike, but after I dismount. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2 |

I've brought bear spray into Canada; I let them know I had it and they said bear spray was fine. You can't bring in mace or anti personel spray.

I'm thinking of getting one of these for a long trip in the northern woods, just in case of wildlife issues.
Anyone have experience with these? http://www.opticsplanet.com/blackhaw...er-40xp00.html

Have you seen the Technaclip belt clip. No holster needed. Works well for DAO guns with a firm trigger, but not for light triggers, for obvious reasons.

Sure. You do have to be aware pulling up your pants or whatever, taking care not to grab the trigger. The trigger pull on the small Rugers is heavy (about 8 lbs), and about 1" before firing. To be extra safe, carry with the chamber empty. It only takes a second to pull the slide.

some of you are very caught up with something going wrong while carrying during a get off. there is a very good chance that your gun placement is the least of your problems... and i would rather my gun slide down the road than my hip bone.

You might look at one of the various belly band holsters on the market. Not quite as easy to access but they are adjustable to position and hide very well under a shirt or jacket.

Even being a gun person, I will admit that bear spray is more effective with big wildlife, as well as being accepted in Canada (as long as the label says "Bear Spray" and not "Pepper Spray"). |

carry
I'm liking my N2 Pro IWB for my g19 or g26. that and an LCP in a DeSantis Nemesis ride with me. Sometimes will go with the Sig 239 in a thumb break Galco, Weather dictates what I wear and how I carry
