I prob will stop by for a little bit and cheer you guys on - I agree with tha rick - after what it was like last weekend and given the weather forcast I think it will be a total mud fest in some sections - especially since there are no bypassing sections when racing - wohooo!! Mud Mud Mud!

Ohh, I can't wait. It is going to be sooo sloppy. We need to get more people out there though. The folks at the track said they need more like 200 people per race, rather than the 90 that have been showing up.

Bring on the slop

So I went to the VDR web site to check for race info. The final Harescramble is listed as April 4. Is the one May 2 something special, not listed as part of the series? What is the start time?

Dave

The race this weekend is actually a postponement from the February Race. Same times - sign in starts at 9am and race starts at 11am

Have you guys even seen that track when it's muddy? I once bought special tires just for the mud then caught some sanity and never mounted them.

WyoGirl & I do not toe the line on special tires, or special set-ups for dry/wet/muddy/tacky track conditions. We're ametures, Dysco, you know that. I'm running the same IRC VE33/35 Vulcanduros I mounted 2 years ago that handled Hellsickle's tire chains on the Elephant-Ride. They pretty much do everything good. I did buy tear-offs in case of muddy conditions, but need to cut them to fit my goggles. Amanda & I are Privateers, in the greatest sense of the word (she had to borrow socks last race!) As an off-road rider, I know mud, and so does Amanda...we'll be just fine. Not podium finishes, but we'll have more fun than most Americans Sunday

I had to do something with my Bridgestone Bucks from racing- I didn't want to buy trailwings for my F650GS.

I usually do most of the races out there....it's a great time! And no, it should not be muddy tomorrow. I was out there with my wife and 6 year old son today. A few muddy spots here and there but pretty dry overall....Should be great conditions!

Drove by on Saturday & track conditions looked to be very good. No mud in sight.

No rain until 5....

Enjoy!

I would have been out there but my mother showed up with zero notice. Literally...knock on the door and there she was!

So....wrenching for Sunday...and Rampart for next Sunday.

Oh well, I popped my riding cherry at Rampart two years ago or so...might as well pop my KTM cherry at my hometown riding area.
