Took Nutsy on a tour of the air park at the USAF Armaments Museum today since FINALLY it cooled off to 55 deg for a great riding day.

The entrance.

Nutsy trying for a pilots eye view off the nose of an SR-71 Blackbird.

Nutsy checking out the innards of a B-25 Billy Mitchell bomber.

To the left - A-10 Warthog and to the right - F-16 Fighting Falcon

. . . looks like as good a place for a drop as any, so:

Directly behind the F-16 is a lone Palmetto bush (long pointy leaves, fan shaped),

Nutsy prepares to take a dive into the pine straw,

The glove points the way.

Notes: This museum, although much smaller than the larger Naval Air Museum in Pensacola or the USAF Air Museum in Ohio, it is a really nice museum with a lot inside that you can see in 60-90 minutes. It's FREE but has regular hours (see the first pic, hours shown under the bomb). The air park around it, on the other hand, is open 24/7.

Game on.

Shuey

Thumb

Courtesy of . . . Garmin Zumo 660. Probably works on a 550 also.

Arrive at location.
Touch screen anywhere
Select "Save"
Enter a name
It'll be saved to your "Favorites" file.

Go to "Menu"
Go to "Tools"
Go to "Where Am I"
Voila . . . coordinates!

You can also just go to Google Maps, place your cursor, right mouse click and from the drop down select "What's here". In the search line you will see the coordinates.

Or in this case 30.467459,-86.561545

Should put you right on top of Nutzy.
