With a little luck maybe they'll both get moved around south Texas some until the ice melts in north Texas and Oklahoma.

4jranch, well played.

As to the other nut that was made and not yet dropped; plenty of room for more tag games. Maybe you could use it to start another game as two mascots in one game is one to many.

Here's my opinion on the situation (at risk of being called a "cowboy").... resetiing the tag while the current holder is present (unlike TH who disappeared with the Egg) is bad precedent to set. The mascot is not lost, the holder has not disappeared and has posted.

But,,, it's not my game and this is only my opinion.

Well . . . this one is look'in good, has been picked-up and is heading East a few states.

Does it get dropped or . . . not? OP?

Shuey

PS: Thank you RidingDonkey for the educational help!

(OK . . . tried TapATalk and didn't get it figured out. Now have a Photobucket account, maybe this will work. SUCCESS!)

Boatman, and others, my thoughts are that JR Joyce has had the nut for 3 weeks or so and has yet to drop it and folks want to play. I think I made the right call in that less than two hours after making the suggestion a new nut was put into play. I also like the fact that we are back to plain old nut. This is not to say that the "decorated" nuts were not cool, they were, but I think a plain old nut will be less prone to theft.

I guess I see it like this; unless you are taking the nut on an adventure (documented along the way), three weeks is far to long to hold the tag. I think people get caught up in finding "the perfect place" to drop the tag or something. When you get right down to it it does not matter. If you only have time to grab Mr. Nut and move him 5 miles across town, DO IT. Maybe the next person will move him 1000 miles. The point is that you participated and hopefully had fun doing it.

It's your game, so you do what you like, but you *might* want to add the above to the rules on the first page:

Seems that you have determined Jrjoyce to be an asshat even though he made an attempted drop 3 days ago and - in the interest of not losing another nut (how many nuts can we lose and still call ourselves men?) - opted out of that drop spot. He didn't disappear and he's made other good grab-n-drops in tag games. Did you try contacting him directly before calling for a coup?

Just my opinion, which counts for absolutely fuck-all, so take it as such.

I merely made a suggestion that was acted upon.

This is, remember, an internet forum and people will do as they please, but at least my suggestion has gotten the nut moving again.

Jrjoyce, no offense intended even if guymanbro wants to infer it.

Since you started this game, your suggestions carry a bit more weight than the rest of us clowns.

And I wasn't inferring offense, just using the language of the rules you laid out for the game (sarcasm is always a bitch on the internets). And pointing out that if the new rule is to make a drop in 3 weeks or less, then it should be so stated.

Carry on.

Yeah, you have to give the guy credit. This Nutsy would still be sitting under a bridge in San Diego had Jrjoyce not saddled up and made the grab all the way from North Carolina earlier this year. He's no TH.
