K, enough crapola, amended rule 3 and 4; hope these changes suit the players and clear up what to do the next time there is an issue with Nutsy disappearing or being held.

JrJoyce, I know you were trying and I mean no foul to you in all this, just want to see the game move.

#3 Tag mascot is required to claim the tag. Tag claims must be posted within 12 hours of the 1st "bruced" photo. In the event no official tag claim is made within 12 hours, the person with the 1st "bruced" photo gets the tag and the honor of picking out and putting into play a new nut. If this person does not put a new nut into play with 1 week of their "bruced" shot then ANYONE can get a new nut and get the game moving again. No grab shot needed for this, you just need to be the first.

# 4 The please don't be an rule. If you grab Nutsy, take him on an adventure, drop him and then leave him. Document the adventure so the rest of us know what is going on with Nutsy. If you grab him and cannot make your dream drop then just drop him somewhere (the landscaping in your front yard would work) as other want to play.
--- 4A If you grab him and then we hear nothing from you for one week the same this applies as in rule 3; after one week, ANYONE can get a new nut and get the game moving again. No grab shot needed for this, you just need to be the first.

Just want to clear one other thing up. Boatman quoted me as telling folks to start their own game if they wanted it to move faster. I did state that, but it was in reference to Nutsy sitting for along period after being dropped. I, and I assume others, have no issue with how long the drop sits. The issue at hand is movement once Nutsy is grabbed or as has been the case of late; he is stolen.

Correct.... but both quotes show that you want people to wait, whether it is dropped or being held.

This is a completely different situation than TH taking the Egg and disappearing. As stated already by others, jjoyce has been online and shows intention of of a drop as soon as he can. I don't like the fact that he has held onto it either.

This is, remember, an internet forum and people will do as they please so if you want to two mascots running at the same time then go for it. I do not care one way or the other, but at least my suggestion has gotten the nut moving again.

Jrjoyce, no offense intended even if guymanbro wants to infer it.

And then to rule was changed.

Sorry dude, I was being proactive with getting this moving again. Seeing as you have already dropped it, why not start a TX game with the top hat nut as the mascot?

This is not to say that the "decorated" nuts were not cool, they were, but I think a plain old nut will be less prone to theft.

I guess I see it like this; unless you are taking the nut on an adventure (documented along the way), three weeks is far to long to hold the tag. I think people get caught up in finding "the perfect place" to drop the tag or something. When you get right down to it it does not matter. If you only have time to grab Mr. Nut and move him 5 miles across town, DO IT. Maybe the next person will move him 1000 miles. The point is that you participated and hopefully had fun doing it.

What a clusterfuck this has turned into.

Since we don't like the rules, and change them at will, jrjoyce should post his drop. In the meantime, I'll just head over to the adult toy store, grab a big dildo, and declare it the new mascot with a drop in NC.

Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy...

I figure the dildo would be fitting, since we're just sitting here screwing around with nuts anyway.
